MonthIQ is a personal financial planning and commitment-tracking tool designed to help users understand recurring monthly payments and plan ahead.

MonthIQ allows users to record information such as subscriptions, loans, installments, memberships, rent, insurance, and other recurring financial commitments.

MonthIQ provides calculations and information based on the data entered by the user. MonthIQ does not independently verify the accuracy of that information.

MonthIQ is provided for informational and planning purposes only.

MonthIQ does not provide financial, investment, tax, accounting, legal, lending, credit, or other professional advice.

Calculations, projections, comparisons, and other information displayed by MonthIQ are based on the information provided by the user and are intended to help users understand their commitments.

You are responsible for evaluating your own financial circumstances and decisions. Where appropriate, consult a qualified professional before making financial, investment, tax, legal, borrowing, or other significant financial decisions.

You are responsible for:

• The accuracy and completeness of information you enter into MonthIQ.
• Reviewing calculations and information before relying on them.
• Maintaining the security of your MonthIQ account credentials.
• Using MonthIQ in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms.

MonthIQ does not guarantee that calculations or projections will exactly match amounts charged by financial institutions, lenders, merchants, subscription providers, or other third parties.

MonthIQ is designed with a local-first approach.

Information may be stored locally on your device to provide the core functionality of the application.

If you create or sign in to a MonthIQ account and use cloud backup functionality, applicable account and commitment information may be transmitted to and stored by our cloud service provider.

Cloud backup is intended to help you restore your MonthIQ information when using another device.

You are responsible for reviewing the information stored in your account and for maintaining access to your account.

MonthIQ may offer optional paid features through MonthIQ Plus subscriptions.

MonthIQ Plus subscriptions are purchased through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Subscription prices and applicable taxes may vary by country or region and are displayed through Apple's purchasing system.

Subscriptions may automatically renew unless cancelled according to Apple's applicable subscription terms.

You can manage or cancel an Apple subscription through your Apple account and Apple's subscription management tools.

MonthIQ does not directly process or store the payment card or bank account information used for an Apple In-App Purchase.

MonthIQ, including its name, logo, software, design, graphics, text, features, and other content, is owned by or licensed to MonthIQ and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except as permitted by law or expressly authorized by us, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from MonthIQ or its content.

You agree not to:

• Use MonthIQ for unlawful purposes.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to MonthIQ systems or another user's account.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of MonthIQ.
• Attempt to reverse engineer or circumvent technical protections except where permitted by applicable law.
• Use MonthIQ to infringe the rights of another person or entity.

We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue features of MonthIQ from time to time.

We do not guarantee that MonthIQ or any particular feature will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

We may release updates to improve functionality, security, compatibility, or performance.

MonthIQ may rely on third-party services, including Apple's App Store and In-App Purchase services and cloud infrastructure providers such as Supabase.

Your use of third-party services may also be subject to the terms and policies of those providers.

MonthIQ is not responsible for the availability or operation of third-party services.

MonthIQ is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.

We do not guarantee that the information, calculations, projections, or other content provided by MonthIQ will be complete, accurate, current, or suitable for your particular circumstances.

You are responsible for independently evaluating information before making financial or other decisions.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MonthIQ and its owners, developers, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, MonthIQ.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate access to an account or the service where reasonably necessary, including for violations of these Terms, security reasons, misuse of the service, or legal requirements.

You may stop using MonthIQ at any time.

Termination does not affect rights or obligations that by their nature should continue after termination.

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of MonthIQ after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
